The Memorial Tournament has long been a staple of the Columbus Spring culture! It's so cool that one of the greatest golf players in history is a native to the Columbus area.
Who else is looking forward to teeing off this Memorial Tournament with a refreshing Arnold Palmer? This spiked Arnold Palmer recipe below is perfect for pairing with our Memorial themed cookies.
Spiked Arnold Palmer
8 cups water (4 boiled, 4 cold)
3/4 cups sugar
11/2 teaspoon lemon zest
1 cup bourbon (your favorite)
2/3 cup fresh lemon juice
10 lemon slices
boil water and remove from heat once boiling
add lemon zest, sugar, tea bags, and sugar to large bowl, add 4 cups boiling water and steep for 5 - 7 minutes.
strain the the above mixture into a pitcher and add renaming water (4 cups), bourbon, and lemon Juice (is using pre brewed tea add it now)
let the mixture chill in the fridge for about an hour, and up to 12 hours.
add lemon slice garnish and ice to serve
*add more or less bourbon, lemon juice, and tea upon your taste
