Perfect Pimm's Cup

We are excited to celebrating the Wimbledon championship games this weekend with the perfect Pimm's Cup!  
This delicious recipe we found on The New York Times in the cooking section is a refreshing drink to mix up for your tennis parties! 
Ingredients: 
1 cup sugar 
1 cup water 
1 1/4 thick in slice of unpeeled cucumber 
1 1/2 ounce Pimm's No.1 
1/2 ounce Gin (your fave)
1 ounce Lemon Juice 
Sparkling water 
Lemon wedge and Mint sprig for garnish 
How to: 
1 - In a small sauce pan, bring to boil 1 cup of water and 1 cup of sugar, stir until sugar is dissolved.  Remove from heat and cool 30 minutes - several hours.  (keeps in fridge up to 3 weeks)
2 - Grab your cocktail shaker, muddle the cucumber (just enough to release the oils and flavors of the cucumber) 
3 - After muddling your cucumber, add your Pimm's, Gin, Lemon Juice, and 3/4 ounce Simple syrup, and shake. 
4 - In a Collins or Highball glass fill with ice, and poor mixture in saker into glass, 
5 - Top with Sparkling water, Lemon wedge, and Mint sprig for garnish. 
6 - Enjoy Responsibly!
