Jana Lee's Bake Shop is Moving!

A little over two and a half years ago Jana Lee's Bake Shop moved from my little condo kitchen to our first commercial kitchen. From never having even worked in a commercial kitchen before to designing and building my own, I've learned a few thing along the way:
1. STORAGE- hello packaging, flour, boxes... you need 10x more space to store things than you think. 
2. How to turn on a commercial grade oven. Yep, that was an interesting first day!
3. It doesn't have to pretty, it has to function! In the age of social media we have a perception that everything is perfect and picture ready and that is just not the case. We didn't have a beautiful glass entrance and we didn't have a photo ready work space, you know why? Dinged kitchen equipment is nearly half off! When you're starting a business saving money where you can is huge. From now on we promise to show behind the scenes a little more, it's not all professional instagram photos around here!
So after two years and bursting at the seams we set out to build a much larger and better functioning space. We're happy to announce that construction is done and we're moving next week! Jana Lee's Bake Shop is CLOSED August 4th-12th. 
Business will resume as usual on Monday August 13th. 
The larger space allows us for more production and most importantly... nationwide shipping coming soon! We still do not have a store front (maybe never?!) pick-ups and deliveries will remain the same for now.
